The intensive three-day training organized by IMELEA to strengthen the financial skills of its institutions concluded successfully on October 18, 2024. Bringing together approximately thirty participants, including administrative and financial directors, accountants, and cashiers, this session delved into key concepts of financial management.
Participants particularly appreciated the contributions of expert trainer, Mr. Boaz NIMPE, who provided them with solid theoretical knowledge and practical tools to improve their daily management. At the end of the training, new responsibilities were assigned to participants, including regular monitoring of provisioning policies, depreciation, and financial statements.
Reverend DUKORE Raoul, deputy legal representative of the Free Methodist Church of Burundi, highlighted the importance of this training and announced a strong commitment from the institution to support participants in implementing their new skills. An additional session is planned to delve deeper into the use of QuickBooks, an accounting software.
This training provided an opportunity for participants to strengthen their skills and contribute to better financial management within IMELEA institutions. The certificates awarded to each participant attest to their commitment and success.
