In a context where financial management is more crucial than ever for the sustainability of organizations, IMELEA organized an intensive three-day training session for its institutions from October 16-18, 2024, in Bujumbura.

Bringing together about thirty participants, including financial directors, accountants, and accounting assistants from the University of Hope in Africa, Hope Hospital in Kibuye, Van Norman Clinic, Radio Voice of Hope, and Musam MVUZANKUVUZE Mutual, this session delved into key concepts of budgeting, accounting, and cash management.

As Reverend Evariste Bimenyimana, Executive Secretary of the Free Methodist Church in Burundi, emphasized at the opening of the training, “At the end of this session, I am convinced that you will have the necessary tools to meet the financial challenges you face and make informed decisions for the future of your institutions.”

By equipping its key stakeholders with new skills, IMELEA reaffirms its commitment to sound and sustainable financial management within all its structures.
