This is a plan by the Evangelism department for the period 2016-2025. The focus is on spreading the Gospel and strengthening the identity of the Free Methodist Church in Burundi.

We will focus on preaching salvation by faith in Jesus Christ.

Regular Sunday services will be limited to 2 hours, with some exceptions.

Reorganize catechism classes and make them mandatory.

Integrate literacy and numeracy into catechism classes and encourage church members to participate.

The church will develop new educational materials, implement the program, and monitor its effectiveness.

Project for Discipleship

The Burundi Free Methodist Church is implementing a discipleship program from 2016 to 2025. This program aims to help new converts grow their faith and become more Christ-like. The church plans to achieve this by:

Organizing discipleship programs in all local churches

Project for Home Cells Program

The Burundi Free Methodist Church is launching a home cell program from 2016 to 2025. This program aims to create small group Bible studies in communities around each local church. To achieve this, The BFMC will:

Organize these cell groups

Train leaders for the groups

Develop a curriculum for the groups to follow

Create relevant materials for the program.

Implement the program.

Track how well the program is working and make adjustments as needed.

Project for Literacy and Numeracy Program

The Burundi Free Methodist Church is offering a literacy and numeracy program from 2016 to 2025. This program aims to teach church members basic reading, writing, and math skills. The program will be available at all local churches and designed to:

Raising funds to support the new churches

Developing a plan for planting new churches

Implement the program.

Monitoring and evaluating the program's effectiveness
